DocuTranslate

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: May 30, 2026

DocuTranslate is operated by i-squared Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By creating an account or using DocuTranslate, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Service

DocuTranslate lets users upload PDF documents, translate them into selected target languages, and download translated visual PDF outputs. The service preserves layout where possible, but translations may contain errors and must be reviewed before use in legal, financial, medical, technical, or other high-impact contexts.

Your Documents and Rights

You must own, control, or have permission to upload and translate any document you submit. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of DocuTranslate complies with applicable laws, contracts, confidentiality obligations, and third-party rights.

Processing License

You grant i-squared Labs, LLC a limited license to process uploaded documents only as needed to provide the service, including storing files temporarily, rendering pages, sending content to service providers, generating translated outputs, and making downloads available.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, violate these Terms, or create operational, legal, or security risk.

Free Preview and Credits

DocuTranslate uses page-based credits. One credit equals one translated page. A free trial may include a limited preview, such as the first page of an uploaded document. If a document has more pages than the available free preview or account balance, the job may pause until more credits are added. Paused jobs may require you to resume them from the product after credits are available.

Paid Plans and Billing

DocuTranslate offers one-time page bundles and monthly subscription plans. Bundles add a fixed number of page credits. Monthly plans add the page allowance shown at checkout for each paid billing period. Payments, invoices, payment methods, and billing portal flows are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. Prices, taxes, currency, plan limits, and renewal terms are shown at checkout or in the account billing area.

Refunds, Chargebacks, and Adjustments

If a payment fails, expires, is refunded, is disputed, or is reversed, related credits may be withheld, removed, reversed, or placed under manual review. If credits from a reversed payment were already used, your account balance may become negative or your account may be restricted until the issue is resolved. Refunds are handled according to applicable law, Stripe payment status, and any refund decision we expressly approve.

Downloads and Retention

Translated outputs are available for a limited download window shown in the product, currently seven days after completion unless a different period is displayed. You are responsible for downloading outputs before they expire. We may delete original PDFs, intermediate files, preview files, translated outputs, and other document-content files after processing, cancellation, failure, expiry, or cleanup. Job, account, billing, credit, and operational metadata may be retained for service, support, accounting, security, and legal purposes.

Acceptable Use

You may not use DocuTranslate to process unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, attack or disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, or attempt to reverse engineer protected systems.

Outputs and Accuracy

Translated outputs are generated automatically. We do not guarantee that translations are complete, accurate, legally sufficient, or suitable for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may update these Terms by publishing a new version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, i-squared Labs, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
