Security

This page summarizes the high-level security and data-handling practices used by DocuTranslate.
Document Handling
DocuTranslate processes uploaded documents only to provide PDF translation, generate translated outputs, make downloads available, and support service reliability. Document contents are not used for unrelated purposes.
Encryption
DocuTranslate uses HTTPS for data transmitted between your browser and the service. Stored files and operational data are handled through infrastructure providers that support standard cloud security controls.
Access Controls
User documents and translation jobs are associated with authenticated accounts. Internal operational access is restricted to authorized personnel and used for support, reliability, security, and abuse-prevention purposes.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. DocuTranslate stores billing metadata such as Stripe customer, checkout, invoice, subscription, refund, and dispute identifiers, but does not store full payment card numbers.
Service Providers
DocuTranslate uses trusted service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, email delivery, model processing, payments, and infrastructure operations. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.
Retention
Document files are retained temporarily so you can access translation results after processing. Original PDFs and intermediate processing files are removed after they are no longer needed or after failure, cancellation, or cleanup. Downloadable translated outputs expire after the limited access window shown in the product, currently seven days after completion unless a different period is displayed. After expiry or cleanup, document-content files are deleted from DocuTranslate-controlled storage. Account, billing, job, credit, and operational metadata may be retained for service, security, support, accounting, and legal purposes.
User Responsibility
You should upload documents only if you have the rights or permission to process them and are comfortable with the document processing described in the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Security Reports
If you believe you have found a security issue, contact support@isquaredlabs.com with a clear description and steps to reproduce. Please do not include sensitive documents unless they are necessary to explain the issue.
