Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how i-squared Labs, LLC processes information when you use DocuTranslate.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, verification status, session information, and login timestamps. We process uploaded PDFs, generated page images, translated outputs, preview outputs, job metadata, credit usage, billing identifiers, support messages, logs, and operational events needed to run the service.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, provide PDF translation, preserve job history, enforce quotas and credits, detect failures, secure the service, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Authentication and Cookies
DocuTranslate uses Supabase Auth and related session cookies or tokens to create accounts, verify email addresses, keep users signed in, protect account access, and authorize API requests. Browser storage may also be used for product state needed to operate the app.
Document Processing
Uploaded PDFs are temporarily stored, validated, rasterized into page images, translated, reviewed, and assembled into downloadable files. Document content may be sent to model providers, storage providers, hosting providers, and other infrastructure providers solely to provide the service, operate the translation pipeline, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.
Service Providers
DocuTranslate currently uses service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, email delivery, model processing, payments, and infrastructure. These may include Supabase, Railway, S3-compatible storage providers, OpenAI, Anthropic, Resend, and Stripe.
Model Providers
DocuTranslate sends document images, translated images, and related processing instructions to model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic to generate translations, audit outputs, and repair failed results. These providers may process and retain API data under their own service, abuse-monitoring, security, and legal policies. We do not use document contents for unrelated marketing or resale.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. DocuTranslate stores billing metadata such as Stripe customer IDs, checkout session IDs, subscription IDs, invoice IDs, refund or dispute IDs, plan information, credit grants, and payment status. DocuTranslate does not store full payment card numbers.
Retention
Original PDFs are deleted after processing or immediately after validation failure or cancellation where applicable. Intermediate page images, translated page images, and checkpoints are deleted after they are no longer needed or after terminal cleanup. Downloadable translated outputs and preview outputs expire after the access window shown in the product, currently seven days after completion unless a different period is displayed. Account records, job metadata, credit ledger entries, billing metadata, support records, and operational logs may be retained for service, support, accounting, security, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and you should not upload documents unless you are comfortable with the processing described here.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information. Contact support@isquaredlabs.com for privacy requests.
Account Deletion
You may contact support@isquaredlabs.com to request account deletion or assistance with privacy rights. Some records may be retained where needed for billing, accounting, security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
International Processing
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on the providers used to operate the service.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version. If changes are material, we may require users to accept or acknowledge the updated version before continuing to use the service.
